Josh is doing somewhat better this morning. He is off the sedative now so there is nothing external preventing him from waking up. We have no idea when that will happen, as it varies dramatically from patient to patient. He is also 90% off the ventilator (100% ON the ventilator last night) and mostly breathing on his own. His face looks much better this morning -- less swelling. There is still swelling of his brain, but we are hoping that well continue to decrease as well.
