It's another mellow day in room 12 at the OHSU ICU today. Josh has been awake all morning but pretty subdued. He loves to hold and play with a couple of rubber balls we bought. And he'll play catch with us for a few minutes from time to time. But aside from watching us with his one good eye, there isn't much interaction.
The plan is to keep him here in the ICU for at least another 24 hours. They are still keeping an eye on his vasospasms. He may be transferred to the regular trauma unit as early as tomorrow. But like so many things in his recovery, we'll have to wait and see.
