Not too much has transpired since our last post 24 hours ago. Josh has been awake most of the day today and seems more alert than yesterday. We've had several exciting games of catch today and he has been interacting reasonably well with people. He has not, however, been responding to commands or answering questions very well. He continues to pull at his various tubes and wires, which keeps us on our toes. He also seems to enjoy putting items in and dumping them out of a plastic container. He likes to be constantly fiddling with something in his hands.
His most recent Doppler test revealed ongoing vasospasms with slightly higher velocity, so we don't think he'll be moving out of the ICU today. At least one more day.
